Remixlive 3.0 for iOS shows the capabilities of tablets as music making devices

Mixvibes has been in the business of making attractive music software for many years now. As we previously covered Ableton's app for iPad serving as a remote control for Live, we have to add this app - because, Remixlive 3.0 takes it a step much further.

Get some ideas here about what an iPad may hold for you.

Mixvibes introduces Remixlive 3.0

We've been through a number of iterations of the iPad that added multi-touch, etc. to its capabilities. Long gone are the times when you could primarily use it for media consumption, or web browsing. In fact, the iPad never started life as this - it was always a more powerful device than that (and this goes without throwing flowers at them).

While we haven't seen a huge suite of apps sophisticated enough for music production, Remixlive by Mixvibes has featured high on our list since it launched. It's one of the apps that translates a high level of usability with a lot of fun when using it.

Version 3 of the app just got better, featuring a new design and a new finger drumming mode. It's a free download too, with in-app purchases offered around packs.
